What nature selects might not be good. We must not endorse it. If someone wants to harbor a mental version of the world that makes less sense than a slime mold's (ie. is internally inconsistent and biologically negligent) they may indeed have a place, but I'm not rushing to give them the reins of government or even the reins of a horse. Neigh.
