You actually seemed to agree with me. That may be a first in my experience on this forum.

I am serious about heaven. What do you think it is? My view is that most everybody goes there regardless of how they conducted their lives. They are collected into groups of like people. So the more or less evil types are put with the evil types, and together they decide that it must be hell.

Jainism believes in the holiness and equality of all life.

We seem to be in agreement on monkies and the fact that the earth existed much longer than the bible claims. That's what I wanted to debate. So we need Cliff to respond.

Regarding evil- you did not claim that war was not evil. The basis of Darwinism is essentially war. The fact that other processes play a role does not alleviate the evil side of nature.

I think on the whole that our views are perhaps too alike for a really good debate.
