I don't assume Scott is more of a newcomer than Harv. Scott in fact said he has a science education. It's presumptuous to believe others are more juvenile than one's self.

As for insulting...is it not an insult to science to weigh in as Scott did and then proceed to cut corners so caustically on his announced findings?
Yet H. sees no harm. No surprise. I estimate H.,
with his continual eluding of precision and his
many quasi-moral pronouncements about others here,
is less like the man who crumbled the phlogiston
cliche' and more like those who guillotined that great scientist in the name of the French people.
