In my opinion, Alan has made an excellent case for his position and explained it very well. I am inclined to agree with him completely, although I don't have much experience or knowledge to back it up.

As for Richard's disagreement that "psychological sickness does not exist", I think that what Alan is saying is that if there is such a sickness, it would be neurological, and it should be treated by neurologists. The error is that there are no "sicknesses" left to be called "psychological" after you remove the neurological sickness and the inconvenient behavior cases.
