Dick's paper is not about logic, math, and abstract thinking. Like a magician he shows you those cards so that you are focused on the cards on the table while switches the cards in his hands. He starts off with reasonable concerns (e.g., the problems that skeptics always cite) and then abstracts away (i.e., switches the cards).

Regarding mathematical realism, it is very leading edge in terms of philosophy of mathematics. This is what philosophers (and mathematicians) are discussing. They are not discussing Pyrrhonic skepticism.

As for resurrections, divine order, etc, that's my added touch!
