And NAMELY scientists who uses that INADEQUATE as you said, math are the ones who build WORKING machines, homes, communication and transportation, drugs, defend us from "acts of gods" and acts of terrorists, making our life safer, longer, more interesting, more healthier, more rich, etc. atc.

In contrast, religion ("word of god") does not explain anything about nature, can not build any machine, shelter, computer, transport, defense or even feed masses.

Strange that instead it burns and punishes scientists and their books, prohibits research insisting on promitive dogmas like Adam and Eve, 7-day creation or 6000 - year old Earth, forbids teaching Darwin and Big Bang, bans cloning of human organs and making genetically superior plants, animals and (soon) humans. ALL WHICH CONTRADICTS OR THREATENS RELIGION DOGMAS.

If you need to build a house, where do you go? To engineers (math) or to a priest (who may ask God to make a house for you)? If you need to make a parachute for yourself, would you pray to God to get an answer about needed square footage and thickness of tissue or you take a calculator and do the math? Designing car airbag? Drugs? Defense system?

That is why math - because it WORKS. And religion with all it "words of allmighty" CAN'T.
