Regarding Photons

1. Photons do not age. They retain the same time as when they were created. This is one of the principle results of relativity.

2. DoctorDicks theory is equivalent to Feymann's quantum theory which has only photons and particles- no fields. The double slit problem is solved with that theory by using both past and future photons. As a photon created in the past and still retaining the time of its creation, as that can never change for a single photon, as the past photon encounters the double slit, it also encounters a future time virtual photon at the detection screen, producing the interference pattern.

So the concepts involved in that problem solution in quantum mechanics is somewhat like your phenomenology, except that photons do not experience the passage of time.

Regards,

DrummerDick
