Awareness And Self-awareness.

As always, discussion runs long and unproductive (see below) if it lacks definition of the subject of discussion.

If to define awareness as a knowledge (information), then self-awareness is knowledge about self.

Then computers (and humans) become self-aware as soon as they have knowledge (info) about themselves.

The more information they have about themselves - the more self-aware both (computer and human) are.
