Science HAS NOT disproved God. Also you can not 'prove' God; otherwise the criteria of proof would be more ultimate than the ultimate explanation (God); so you would have a contradiction. Ultimate explanations are at the end of the explaining-chain; there things just ARE. Thus EXISTENCE is the ultimate explanation.

You experience God; no need of proof.

Stephen Hawking's no-boundary Universe would just BE; well: BEING is God.

Alex: you keep making a reductionist argument. The old 'gods' who threw thunderbolts around (Zeus etc.) are not what the debate is about these days.

Sure science has damaged belief in Zeus; but can not disprove the existence of EXISTENCE; or that EXISTENCE IS WHO IS BEING.
