Virtual Particles Are Filling In

Space is not expanding like a balloon which gets thinner as it expands. What really is happening is that more space is being created all the time, everywhere, and at an accelerating rate. Another way to look at it is that since spacxe, a vacuum, is full of virtual particles, more and more virtual paricles are being created and filling in space, thus moving real particles away from each other. The rate is accelerating because the creation mechanism from nothing is proportional to what is already created.
