Tenacious, You seek to find fault with God by disputing the views of the men who wrote religious text. They had limited understanding. Instead of accepting the conclusion that there is no God, because you find fault with information that is faulty to begin with, you might try attempting to perceive an improved understanding of what is said about God.

For instance, God's Omniscience. Some believe that this means that God Knows the Future. That could only be True if everything were predetermined, by God. So only someone who believes in predetermination can honestly appreciate this view. God IS Omniscient, but His Omniscience is provided by His Omnipresence. This means that He Knows Everything that occurs, as it occurs. He Knows Everything that IS. The Future is not, yet. Now some things are Predetermined, by God, through the Laws of Physics. God can tell the Future of Everything, throughout the universe, that abides by the Laws of Physics, Except that which is influenced by the Free-Will of Self-Awareness.

We also can tell the Future of that which abides by the Laws of Physics. Look in any Farmer's Almanac and you will find the precise times of the month's high and low tides, and the days that the phases of moon fall on. We can do even better still. But God did not Know five billion years ago that today the Hubble Space Telescope would be orbiting the earth. Mankind's Free-Will put that up there, and God does not Transgress upon Mankind's Free-Will. He can, but He doesn't.

Now as to evil. What you attribute to God as evil, is not evil, it is simply natural. Earthquakes are geological necessities that release the stress between tectonic plates. Would you rather God did not approve of relieving these stresses to save the lives of everyone in the city of Los Angeles, if it means the geological stresses would eventually split the planet in two? God has approved of things working the way they do with good reason. We have to learn to live within the confines of the system, just as if God did not exist, and in doing so we learn about the nature of the system, and we can then provide for ourselves without the necessity of altering the system.

God Knows what He is doing my friend, but you will never manage to see it that way if you don't try to see how appropriate things work, working the way they do.
