Negativity Vs Constructive Criticism

Alex,

It's good to see that you have a healthy life. I was worried that you might be living an unhealthy life of negativity over your host country, current employer, etc. Although, there is a difference between being 'negative' and being 'constructive'. A constructive individual can be healthy but a 'negative' person will be challenged to do so.

To be constructive means to be effective in one's criticisms such that they are able to have some positive effect. For example, it requires a reasonable goal and a positive outlook. To be constructive is more of an attempt to help and not an attempt to tear down.
