Alex, The Egg Came First!!!

Chickens come from eggs. At some point in the past, the first "chicken" was born from an egg of some entity which was not characterized as a chicken: i.e., a mutation had taken place and the parent was a "pre-chicken". Since the question did not characterize the entity "egg" by its source, the egg clearly existed before the chicken!!!

One should be logically careful.
