i'm supposed to do a paper for my science class-- "Do you believe that atheists can be as moral as religious believers?"--- I didnt even know what an atheists was up until about 5 minutes ago. But from what I understand, they dont believe that there is a God but that everything is based around science. (there is no heaven, no afterlife, no almighty power up above..) But correct me if i'm wrong..
Now about the morals. Morals, morals, morals.. hm.. Isnt it true that morals come from within you? Not from what you believe in? Someone that doesnt believe that there is a God could just as easily have the same morals (if not even better) than one who does believe in God. Am i not correct? I guess that i do believe that atheists can be as moral as religious believers. People are people. Thats like asking if blondes can be as moral as brunnettes. I think that i just want some other opinions. What do you think? Are atheists as moral as religious believers? Why do you think that?.....
