There's a big word that is bantered about by physicists but nobody really knows how it happens. The best explanation that I know of comes from string theory where the entangled particles in an EPR experiment are in contact via higher dimensions, which form a thread of compactified space from one particle to its partner: up and down, plus and minus, which divorce everytime one of them meets a stranger. Disentanglement is the ultimate informania.

Physicists are allowed to use words they really know nothing about: True in all of science. They are even allowed to make them up- like informania.
