Pluto, Can I See It?

I just purchased an Orion SkyQuest XT8 Dobsonian Reflector last month. I am a beginner, I read that you need at least an 8in reflector to see Pluto. I spent several nights searching the sky that I expected to see pluto in. Never found it. Is it possible to be seen with this telescope? I have been using a 10mm Plossl EP that came with the telescope. Any suggestions or is it just not possible?

Brad
