Im about to upgrade my old scope (10 newt) for a SCT. But i carnt decide between the 10 and 8 inch Lx200. I dont really want to upgrade to a smaller scope, but the 10 inch is supposted to be less stable and the wedge for the 10inch is v expensive. As the main reason for the upgrade is to go into astrophotography, stabilaty is important but i will also still do alot of visual work and i should be able to handle the 10 inch.

It seems like an impossible choice, any suggestions?

Thanx, Ben
