I'm across the great north/south divide up in the northeast of England. I've been involved in this hobby for over twenty five years and believe me you learn to be patient on the subject of cloudy nights!! I was there under leaden skies in cornwall in '99 so I know the levels of disappointment! An 80mm 'frac will give you a good start, there's lot's to see up there with a scope like that. Stick with it and the bug will be with you for life. Clear skies. Eddie
