Greetings,

Anyway, I am originally from the North-East myself. But have lived down south for the last ten years.

I remember how much clearer the skies seemed to be compared to down here!

But worst of all, I am having to move to the Southwest in a year or two, where clearer skies are rarer!

Well, I am waiting for that first starlit night.

Q. What is the average lengh of new telescope syndrome? That is, how long does one have to put up with cloudy skies as soon as they buy a new scope?

Regards,
Yunus
