The larger the apature the more you will see however don't ever expect to see what you see when you look at photographs. Your eyes don't work like film. On film the light starts gathering from the time you open the shutter until you close the shutter, with your eyes it is in real time and not building up. If you plan to take photos some day do get a equatorial type mount.
