| Can't Decide What Scope 8" Or 17" Dob Or SC Type Scope

I need an extra push to decide what scope to get. I live in the mtns so dark skies are not a problem. The 8" dob is new, the 17" dob needs to be put together but has Parks optics or the 8 or 10" SC which will be a used telescope. I'm a beginner but committed. The dob would probably be set up permanantely in a small enclosure and rolled out when needed. For the SC I'd probably make a pier. I'm looking for a scope that would give good views of planets and deep space objects. Help me to decide! Thanks, Mickey |
