I am trying to interface my Magellan II to my PC to work in conjunction with the Earth Centered Universe software and as incomplete as the manual is I am left confused.Page 18 shows a diagram of the RS-232 pinouts as being 1 4 2 5 . After doing some checking on the internet I located a wiring diaghram that showed a pinout of 1 4 2 5 3 6 which will match with a six wire cable that the manual says will work and that only pins 3 4 5 are used to transmit the data to the PC. Holding a six wire cable with the RJ12 connector up with the cable down and the pins facing me is the wiring order still 1 4 2 5 3 6 or do I use the order of 1 2 3 4 5 6 to connect the pins 3 5 2 on the DB-9 connector . Any help would be appreciated.

Ken
