Michael, 2" eyepieces are really nice to have but....the running norm is 1.25". Some folks use a few 2" eyepieces but if they have an adapter they'll use a 1.25". I use a 32mm 2". I only use it for wide field scanning and wide view viewing. Then I switch over to my 1.25" getup. I usually advise my telescope buddies not to waste money on expensive 2" stuff if 1.25" does the job. Maybe using a 2" on a 30" scope that has a 3.5" diagonal might OK, bu not really on a 8" or 10". Pocono Optics (should carry) has 2" eyepieces. If your scope is 12" or smaller you don't really need a 2" eyepiece. Use the adapters for 1.25" if you can. This is how I do it. Everyone is different.
