Thanks for the response but it's not a question of buying 1.25" vs. 2". I HAVE 2" eyepieces and wanted to know if there was a good reason for not using them for planetary/lunar viewing. The only reason I had so far was the lack of filters.

As for Pocono Optics, they do have some 2" filters. Thank you very much.
