Can I Put A New Focuser On My 60mm?
Forum List | Follow Ups | Post Message | Back to Thread Topics Posted by Tim Tyler II on August 19, 2002 00:16:36 UTC |
I want to use 1.25 or 2 high quality eyepieces, but my Ebay special 60mm refractor (old Meade 292) appears to only take .96's...I was looking at Apogee's site and they have a focuser that supposedly fits all 60mm type refractors...is this commonly done/can I do it? Will I gain performance by customizing this old scope? The eyepieces I have are mildewed or something, and I really don't want to waste money on new .96 type eyepieces, I would prefer to try out some low/medium power plossls. Any suggestions?
