I've seen that eyepiece, it's a good eyepiece. I never did a comparison with the Panoptic 22MM. The guy who owns it dosen't use it that much. He has the 32MM SWA as well and uses that one more. The problem with the 24.5 is it's a 1.25" eyepiece not a 2". You still need the adapter. The Panoptic 22MM fits a 2" and 1.25" so you don't need the adapter. It makes a difference to me. I don't like to keep changing to the adapter. I buy only eyepieces that fit 2" except for the 8MM Teleview Radian. Also I saw the Panoptic 22MM used on many scopes, had to have it! That's my main eyepiece.
