I am thinking of purchasing a Pentax XL SMC 5.7mm for viewing Mars through my 8" reflector. I haven't found any info on the eye relief or apparant field of view.
This will give me 234x magnification, which is a little more than I wanted, but I hear the optics are good so maybe I won't loose too much light.
Has any body used a combination like this? How would this EP work with filters?
