I think the whole problem is that you are trying to say something logical while Harv expects to hear something meaningful. I understand you are trying to postpone the issue of meaning as it can't possibly be dealt with at this point. What I think you fail to understand is that you just can't do it. You may think you can, but that is only because you already know what Harv doesn't know.
You have to find a better approach to your presentation. It's not fair to expect people to look past the initial problems just because they'll be taken care of eventually. People don't think like that. You don't think like that.
I thought I could help you find that better approach, but when I tried to do it I realized I also had to use the "pay now, get the benefits later" approach which was the very problem I was trying to get rid of, except I think everyone would buy my approach. Everyone but you, that is.
