| Celestron 1st Scope 80 EQ - I Need Some Feedback.

Recently turned the half-century mark and wanted to rekindle younger stargazing days. After many days of Web surfing I decided on the aforementioned scope. My budget was VERY limited as are most I suppose. Basic need??? Pro's and Con's about the 80 EQ. What do I need to enhance its performance. If I have purchased a dud....just be gentle. I have memorized Dickison's "NightWatch" (Highly recommended reading for beginner's I might add.) Also.....Any suggestions to reading material that combines both Mythological Constellation history with existing Star Charts? Looking forward to a long and enjoyable past-time.
