For $2000 there are many nice scopes you can get. If it's just size your interested in, you can get a big Dobsonian. Be carefull of thoes, they are big and heavy. A truss mount is good but they run a lot more. You can probable get between 12" and 16" if you look around. Check out for many companies making both truss mount and standard Dobs. If you want computer drive, the Meade 8" LX90 SCT is right in your price range $1700. This will leave you a little extra for eyepieces. Check that one out. There are tons more, start looking around and get back to me.
