Meade's UHTC transmission is above 85% at all wavelengths, and 90 to 94% between 540 and 690 nm. The Celestron 11" scope has a peak transmission of 85%. This is according to the companies' own advertisements. Sky & Telescope has published a review confirming Meade's claimed transmission. So I stand by my original claim.
