Celestron GPS 11 Setup And Handling Question

I am ready to buy the Celestron 11GPS but I am a bit concerned about the weight since I have to carry it outside every time I use it. Is there anyone who bought the 11" but now wishes they bought the lighter 8"? Or is the design of the Celestron 11 GPS easier to handle than the Meade 10" GPS, which I thought was very awkward to carry.
