The important thing in faster than light speed travel is that light speed is constant, no matter how fast you are going compared to how fast the source of light is moving, you will ALWAYS calculate the speed of light to be the same. Initial speeds don't matter when describing the speed of light, it is ALWAYS 300,000 km/s, so, be that account once a person sees you going faster than the speed of light, you, from your relativity will be going faster than the speed of light as well. and YES, I would like you to e-mail me about that gravity thing...
