Here the speed of gravity refers to a nearly static force. Even in EM wave propagation, the evanecent fields have been shown expeimentally to propagate much faster thn the speed of light. I do not have the links, but a series of experiments where light is passed through a thin medium where the waves become exponential demonstrate that the light in the medium is exceeding the speed of light. So what makes gravity different?
