Hmmm, is this statement true, `The speed of gravity = the speed of light.`? Yes for gravitational waves but no for gravity. The propagation delay for gravity has no detectable delay due to the absence of a counterpart force. GR theory states gravitation is a pure geometric effect of curved space-time, not a force of nature that propagates. In reality, the propagation speed for gravity is much greater than the speed of light. |
