I think you missed the point. The geometric effect of space-time curvature is instantaneous because the effect on space due to the body has already taken place. If you would remove the body, the effect at any point in space would be observed at a later time, consistent with propogation at the speed of light. For example if the sun were to suddenly disappear, we would see it and feel the lack of gravity at the same time. |
