Ok, before my message I just have to say that i'm probably wrong becasue I know NOTHING about astronomy other than things I found on the net for the past 4 days.

Ok, If there were an extremely small black hole with an event horizon with a radius of say, a foot. If that black hole passed through the middle of something, i mean like there was a sheet of metal about 3 yards by 3 yards and the middle of that sheet was in the event horizon, but the rest wasn't, would the entire sheet kindof implode, or would only the stuff indide the event horizon, leaving a hole in the sheet?
