Human I. Scientist,

I thnik you are right about a lot you wrote, but I hav one comment. In order to see an ant better I use a microscope. The microscope is far bigger than the ant. So we do not need tools smaller than the object we are viewing.

But then again I think we will never find "the smallest" part. Because every small part we have found and will find will made up of two or more even smaller parts.
