The nonexistance of 2D creatures IS NOT relevant. Those creatures and their "space" is only here for comparison.

You are not understanding this. This isn't about a giant 3d box. It's about giant 4d "box".

Please read Theory of Relativity by Albert Einstein. (I mean all of it) And you'll find similar example.
