I believe that travelling faster than light is possible. But i would think that the problem not be accelerating to that speed it would be stopping. i.m sure a propulsion system could be built and with todays technologeis a vehicle that could structually withstand the force could be built. think of a bullet and its propulsion it can travel faster than the speed of sound. I think that people are just looking for answers to the wrong questions.
