any exotic philosophical reasons, related to quantum physics, that would lead anyone to suspect Lorentz invariance is violated. If you are talking about non-local stuff then for sure there isn't any exotic...

The other stuff I'll have to read about. Alot of papers get written about inconclusive astrophysical observations. I'm not up to speed on everything but this is the first time I've heard mention of something which would be very important to modern physics. And I wouldn't expect to hear of it here.
