Point 1. The presence of a black hole near the birth of a photon is not important to the history of the photon as long as it doesn't get inside the black hole.
Point 2. Photons lose energy or disappear by interactions, and the energy goes somewhere else. When they travel in a vacuum, they stay the same, no matter how long they travel if they don't interact.
