Go out, get a binocular and drive to the plains. Get out of a car, and look around using binocular (telescope) as far as you can see a horizon. Measure distances to the SEEN horizon of Earth in all directions. Plot it as a graph in polar coordinates. Find center of mass of your SEEN Earth. Compare the position of the visible Earth center of mass to your position. You will get 5-10% closeness (compared to the size of visible Earth.
