The GPS system clocks DON'T NEED TO BE ADJUSTED CONTINUOUSLY to remain in sync with Earth based GPS clocks and the GPS folks have NOT blown off GR. The atomic clocks on the satellites gain 39,407 nanoseconds every 24 hours. The Earth based clocks are adjusted to spread this delta over the entire day. The GPS folks will have blown off GR when they remove this adjustment. Within minutes the GPS system would be rendered useless.
