Is There A Perfect Calendar?

That kind of reminds me of efforts to reform the calendar. The ancient Egyptians had a calendar of 12 months of 30 days each or a year of 360 days. No one could come up with a good scheme to decide when to add an extra month to the year. I think that we will have a the same problem with the leap second when we try to create a civil calendar based on the the atomic clock. Someone with eventually have to arbitrarily decide. No system of logic is absolutely perfect. |
