Going back to the drawing board is something I've done frequently. I mentioned why the far away observers perspective is so strange in the post to 'post-ein'. I think it would be fun to discuss the implications of this perspective. You have probably heard discussions about black holes never forming because objects can never reach the horizon and objects being eternally frozen in time at the horizon, etc.. This all comes from this far away observers (bookkeeper) perspective in GR. It is a real important perspective to the theory yet so strange. |
