im not too sure how either...i'll post an answer on this later on...meanwhile answer this question of mine:

If E = mc^2

then wat is E^2?

issit:

a) E^2 = (mc^2)^2
b) E^2 = square root mc^2
c) E^2 = mc^2 ^2
d) Neither.

If it is neither, then wat issit?
and wat will it be for E^3, E^4 and so on? is there a pattern?
