Can We Hear A Black Hole?

issit possible to detect a black hole by means of sonar?
if we were IN the black hole will there be any sound?
or we can hear it from just a safe distance away?
or we cant even hear it?

explain thanks.

crazy as it may sound...guess where i thought of this question...the toilet...
i was flushing and heard the sounds...wondered if black holes emit sound waves...hmmmm...
