I just finished watching a sci-fi show involving an Einstein-Rosen bridge and a black hole. There exparementing with the wormhole an send a team out to explore the planet they connect to. latter, the sun of a nearby solar system collapses. The people from earth reestablish the wormhole and find that the images they get have redshifted and that time is at a standstill. Would this realy happen? I know that the redshift is from light being streched, but would time slow down? If so, why? |
