heh heh i agree with you whole heartedly, i've just with in the last few years become convinced that all real thinking is an unconcious process such that once we recognize a problem then the brain "swallows" it up, does what ever a brain does and eventually spits out a solution. it seems that thinking and reasoning are two different mental activities. reasoning in my view is a precurser to thinking that is aided by thinking. both i believe are driven by our emotions and probably our stomachs:) i don't mean to belittle the reasoning process, it seems essential, i just sense that the real magic takes place like you say invisibly.

i'd have to go along with the collapse of waves into matter-energy of the imagination.

i can't speak too the BCQ as i've only a cursory knowledge of it.....it seems contrived and very complex but what do i know...

again i can't comment much with regard to axion condensates or any of the condensates because it's another area i'm not well versed in. these condensates i believe are highly concentrated, highly ordered groupings of a vast number of same particles such that the whole mass acts as one particle at least in many of its properties. (please correct me if i'm wrong) or heck i'll just look up the Boise, Einstein condensate i believe it is.
i can imagine though that a condensate (something with vast numbers of something the whole of which tends to act with one accord [even perhaps on a quantum level] with respect to the constituents it is made of) potentialy has vast power with respect to quantum computing.

i would think that binary computing should be a sub set of something as supposedly powerful as quantum computing, but i'm not sure that is right.

i'm not sure what you mean by "higher order being" in your out line "2.The solution to the problem came from some sort of higher order being that exists in the axion condensate or some connected axion condensate"

needless to say i had not thought of the paradox between BQM and the fact that elementary quantum computers have been produced since i'm ignorant of BQM for the most part. it seems so odd to me that deBroglie would be involved with Bohm in the BQM if part of BQM theory is that only particles exist, no waves. The electrons are particles and never waves. deBroglie was after all the one that came up with wave particle duality to a great degree with his equation lambda=h/mv the deBroglie wavelength of a particle. or is the deBroglie involved in BQM another deBroglie :)? while i understand that the idea of wave partical duality is a perplexing concept for many i have never had trouble accepting it, it has a symmetry about it that seems to unify matter and energy in a very compelling way.

i guess the BQM is another theory i'll have to look into. it certainly is interesting but a bit disturbing for some one as infatuated by "classic (with its many interpretations)" quantum mechanics as i am.

and these axions, i'm becomming convinced i need to come to terms with them:)

oh here is a snippet from a web page devoted to consciousness with regards to quantum mechanics....
"The Orch OR model. Insert shows an axon (top) synapsing on a dendritic spine on a dendrite within are a bundle of microtubules shown telescoping in scale (upper right). Each tubulin may exist in two possible classical states (blue, red) or a quantum supeprosition of both states, forming a protein qubit. Tubulin qubits interact/compute by nonlocal entanglement and reduce to classical output states as the solution of the quantum computation.
Sir Roger Penrose and I have developed a model of quantum computation in brain microtubules. The quantum computations are reduced to classical states by Roger's objective threshold related to quantum gravity ("objective reduction - OR") which links the process to fundamental spacetime geometry----the fine structure of the universe. The quantum computation is "orchestrated" by feedback from microtubule-associated proteins, hence we term the process "orchestrated objective reduction" ("Orch OR"). Despite intense criticism by scientific, computational and philosophical establishments (who apparently feel threatened), Orch OR remains a viable theory, and perhaps the only model of consciousness which is able to deal with the enigmatic features of consciousness and provide testable predictions. the key scientific issue is sustaining quantum states in the warm brain milieu, thus the "battle over decoherence". Many view the idea of quantum consciousness (and Orch OR in particular) as unlikely. But I view it as a "speck on the horizon", a paradigm that will eventually dominate our view of brain, mind and reality. Its the only approach which seems capable of tying everything together."
